Ahead of a busy summer of holiday provision, Sportscape Education recently delivered the 1st4Sport Level 1 Award for Activators (Multi-Skills) to the summer team at Everybody Health & Leisure, equipping staff with the skills and confidence to lead high-quality physical activity sessions.

Young asylum seekers and refugees from across North Staffordshire have been developing leadership skills, confidence and community connections through a Level 1 Activator programme delivered by Sportscape Education in partnership with Together Active.

Sportscape Education tutor Leigh Owens successfully delivered the 1st4Sport Level One Award for Activators (Multi-Skills) at Port Vale Football Club which was part of the Active Through Football Stoke Event, delivered in collaboration with Staffordshire FA.

To ensure we remain on track and continue to improve, we’re looking for a new governor to join our governance team at Sportscape Education. This is a voluntary role, with meetings taking place four to five times a year, and it offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in shaping our future.

This summer Sportscape Education is offering a unique opportunity for teenagers aged 14 and above who are eligible for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. This photograph is from a course we ran earlier in the year.
