Director of Education

As Director of Education, I am passionate about creating an environment tailored to individual needs, promoting success in their Education journey.

I have taught across LFE programmes at Coventry City FC and Walsall FC, as well as a range of vocational qualifications and apprenticeships. I am currently delivering our Level 5 Learning Skills Teacher apprenticeship.

Before moving into Further Education, I worked in various Primary Schools delivering PE and in community sport, including Sale Sharks, which I believe has influenced my approach to teaching and learning.  For me I believe teaching isn’t just about delivering content. I believe students learn best when they are able to create experiences they remember.

I am currently working towards my Level 4 IQA course.

Qualifications: BSc Sport and Exercise Science, L5 Diploma in Education and Training, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Level 2 England Rugby Coaching Award, Level 2 Fitness Instructing Award, Level 2 Safeguarding, Youth Mental Health First Aid and Prevent training.

Commercial Director and DSL

I  joined Emphasis CIC and Sportscape Education in 2024 as Commercial Director, with a strong focus on growth, partnerships and creating sustainable opportunities across sport and education.

Since joining the organisation, I have played a key role in strengthening commercial relationships, supporting new projects, and helping drive forward initiatives that expand participation opportunities for young people and communities.

My work centres around building long-term partnerships that not only support organisational growth but also enhance the impact of programmes delivered on the ground.

As Deputy DSL I am committed to ensuring Sportscape Education provides a safe and inclusive environment for all!

Qualifications: Level 3 Enhanced Safeguarding, Level 3 Assessor, HND Level in Management, Level 3 Award in Education and Training and Prevent training.

Operations and Marketing Manager

 I’ve been working for Sportscape Education for 3 years now within the marketing department before recently moving across to become Operations Manager.

Sports and Education is something I have always been passionate about with years working within the industry. Before moving over to further education I have delivered Physical Education and Enrichment Programmes across various Primary Schools.

I think apprenticeships are a great way to develop industry ready behaviours whilst gaining the relevant qualifications. I enjoy delivering on our vocational qualifications providing young individuals opportunities to start their coaching journeys.

I am currently working towards my Level 4 Award in IQA and Practices and Level 5 Learning Skills Teacher.

Qualifications: MSc Sports Management, BSc Sports Management and Coaching, Level 3 Award for Education and Training, Level Two Safeguarding, UEFA C Football Coaching Badge, Level 2 Safeguarding, Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Prevent Training.

LFE Manager and Apprenticeship Tutor

At Sportscape Education I have the pleasure of tutoring our Level 4 Sport Coach apprentices and our Level 2 Community Activator Coach Apprentices. This involve a mix of both practical and theory elements.

Alongside this I deliver qualifications to everyone from the age of 12 upwards through our First 4 Sport and Sports Leadership accredited qualifications.

As part of my LFE Manager role, I oversee and deliver a BTEC qualification to the football scholars at Walsall Football Club! 

I am currently working toward my Level Five Learning Skills Teacher.

Qualifications:  Bsc in Physical Education and Youth Sport Coaching, Level 4 Sport coach, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, UEFA C, Level 2 Safeguarding and prevent training.

Head of SEN and Inclusion, Deputy DSL

I’m Head of SEN and Inclusion, designated safeguarding lead, and an Apprenticeship Tutor, with a strong passion for creating inclusive learning environments where every learner feels supported, valued and able to reach their potential.

With experience across education, SEND, safeguarding, and learner support, in the post 16 sector. I’m particularly passionate about removing barriers to learning and helping learners build the confidence, skills, and independence they need to grow.

I am currently working towards my Level 5 Learning Skills Teacher.

Qualifications:  Level 3 Enhanced Safeguarding, Level 3 Award in Education and Training and Prevent training.

LFE Tutor

I have a sport coaching background with over 10 years' experience.

I have experience of primary school PE teaching, football summer camps and completed my PGCE whilst teaching BTEC Sport at Bromley FC Academy in 2024 before transitioning to Sportscape and teaching the Walsall Scholars in Spring 2026.

Outside of teaching I also play football at semi professional level.

Qualifications: PGCE, BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, UEFA C Football Qualification, Level 1 Safeguarding and Prevent training.

Tutor (Level 4 Sports Coach)

I work part-time on the Sports Coach Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard.

I have been working in the Education Sector for over 20 years on a variety of Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications and apprenticeship programme.

I also have a passion for football, specifically coaching my daughters football team.

Qualifications: PGCE, Assessors Award, IV Award, Safeguarding and Prevent training.
