Delivering high-quality apprenticeship education that changes lives is key to us at Sportscape Education.

To ensure we remain on track and continue to improve, we’re looking for a new governor to join our governance team.

This is a voluntary role, with meetings taking place four to five times a year, and it offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in shaping our future.

As a governor, you’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure we stay focused on our mission, hold ourselves accountable, and always put the needs of apprentices first.

The role goes beyond attending meetings.

You may observe learning sessions, contact apprentices directly to gather feedback, or offer valuable insight into how we can strengthen our approach.

You’ll act as a “critical friend” - challenging us and supporting us in equal measure.

Governors at Sportscape Education are responsible for setting our strategic direction, ensuring financial stability, safeguarding standards, and monitoring the quality of the education we provide.

It’s about making sure everything we do is in the best interests of our learners.

Whether you're from an education background, a business leader, or simply passionate about improving opportunities for young people, your voice matters.

We welcome a diversity of experiences and perspectives to enrich our board.

This role is incredibly rewarding.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of education, help shape policy and strategy, and play a part in ensuring every apprentice receives the best possible experience and outcomes.

If you’re ready to make a difference and join a forward-thinking team committed to excellence in education, we’d love to hear from you.
