Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship launches this October at Sportscape Education
As the demand for highly skilled educators continues to grow across Further Education and adult learning, Sportscape Educationis to launch its new Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship this October.
Ther course is designed for professionals teaching learners aged 14 and above in Further Education and independent training providers and adult community learning settings.
This nationally recognised apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity for organisations to invest in their teaching workforce while helping educators develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to inspire the next generation.
The Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship Standard has been developed to prepare teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning, assess progress effectively, create inclusive learning environments and support learners from a wide range of backgrounds.
It is aimed at those who want to build a long-term career in education while gaining practical experience in the workplace.
To ensure learners are ready for the programme, applicants must hold GCSEs at grades 4-9 (A-C) or Level 2 Functional Skills* in both English and Maths.
They must also possess a Level 3 qualification or above, alongside proven occupational competence in the vocational subject they intend to teach.
Every applicant will also complete an interview before enrolment.
