National Apprenticeship Week 2026: Why apprentices are at the heart of what we do at Sportscape Education
Apprentices are at the heart of everything we do. From the programmes we design to the support we provide, our mission is simple: to help learners develop real-world skills, confidence and clear career pathways through high-quality apprenticeships.
That’s why we are proud to add our support to National Apprenticeship Week 2026, taking place from February 9-15 a nationwide celebration of the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, employers and communities.
National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on how apprenticeships help people gain skills for life.
For many learners, apprenticeships provide an alternative route to success, one that combines earning with learning and places practical experience at the centre of development.
At Sportscape Education, we see first-hand how this approach transforms confidence, motivation and long-term employability.
We believe apprenticeships are particularly powerful within the sports, education and outdoor learning sectors.
Sportscape Education, which offers a range of coaching apprenticeships, supports National Apprenticeship Week from February 9-15.
By learning in real environments, apprentices can immediately apply their knowledge, develop professional behaviours and build meaningful relationships within the workplace.
This not only benefits the learner but also supports employers by developing skilled, committed team members who understand their role from day one.
Sportscape Education offers a range of apprenticeship programmes designed to meet the needs of both learners and employers.
These include Level 2 Community Activator Coach, Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, and Level 5 Outdoor Learning Specialist apprenticeships.
Our programmes are delivered through a blended learning model, combining face-to-face sessions, online learning and one-to-one tutor support to ensure every apprentice is supported throughout their journey.
We also provide tailored support with English and maths where required, alongside mentoring and guidance that helps apprentices overcome challenges and reach their potential.
National Apprenticeship Week is a time to celebrate success, recognise the hard work of apprentices and employers, and encourage more people to consider apprenticeships as a valuable route into meaningful careers.
At Sportscape Education, we remain committed to developing the next generation of skilled professionals this week and beyond.
