Sportscape Education launches Level 3 Early Years Educator Course from Easter 2026
Sportscape Education is launching its new Level 3 Early Years Educator course, this Easter, providing an opportunity for learners to build a rewarding career in early years education and childcare.
Early Years Educators play a vital role in shaping the foundations of a child’s learning and development.
Working across nurseries, pre-schools, children’s centres, schools and home-based provision, they support children from birth to five years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Their work ensures children learn through play in a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment, while supporting individual needs and promoting equality and wellbeing.
This 18-month programme has been designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to thrive in the early years sector.
Apprentices will develop a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, inclusive practice and professional collaboration, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in real working environments.
The course prepares learners to work closely with children, parents, colleagues and multi-agency professionals, ensuring high-quality early education and care.
Sportscape Education also supports apprentices with their English and Maths requirements.
Those without Level 1 will work towards achieving this, before progressing to Level 2, all as part of our Functional Skills programme.
This ensures every learner leaves with the essential qualifications needed to progress within the sector and succeed in their professional journey.
The course is completed through an End Point Assessment (EPA). This includes:
An observation with questions;
A professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence.
These assessment methods ensure apprentices can confidently demonstrate both their practical skills and theoretical understanding of the role.
The Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification opens doors to a wide range of career pathways within childcare and education, supporting progression into senior practitioner roles, leadership positions or further study.
By launching this programme, Sportscape Education continues its commitment to developing skilled, passionate professionals who make a lasting difference in children’s lives.
With growing demand across the early years sector, this course offers a timely and valuable opportunity for learners and employers alike.
