Sportscape Education empowers future coaches with the 1st4Sport Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills coaching

At Sportscape Education, we’re passionate about helping aspiring coaches take the next step in their professional journey.

Last week, we were proud to deliver the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Multi-Skills Development in Sport, a nationally recognised qualification created in partnership with UK Coaching.

Hosted at our Staffordshire (Biddulph) training site, the course brought together a group of motivated learners eager to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to deliver high-quality multi-skills sessions for children and young people.

The Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills focuses on building a strong foundation in both fundamental movement skills - agility, balance, and coordination - and sport-specific skills such as throwing, catching, and jumping.

Learners also gain valuable experience in planning, delivering, and reviewing sessions that promote active participation, inclusion, and fun.

Throughout the week, feedback from participants was incredibly positive.

Learners highlighted how the course helped them develop industry-relevant coaching skills and a deeper understanding of how to engage and inspire young people through sport.

This qualification is ideal for anyone looking to progress their coaching career, enhance PE delivery in schools, or work within community sport.

At Sportscape Education, we’re committed to providing pathways into sports coaching, education, and youth development - giving learners the tools they need to make a lasting impact.
