As part of a recent apprenticeship learning day, Lucas picked up the camera and created a behind-the-scenes video offering a glimpse into life as a Community Activator Coach apprentice.
The video briefly showcases the learning environment, practical activities and collaborative approach that help learners develop the skills needed to succeed within the sport and physical activity sector.
The content was inspired by a recent module focusing on marketing and promotion, an increasingly important topic for those working in community sport.
Learners explored how organisations can effectively engage participants, promote opportunities and communicate with different audiences.
After developing an interest in the subject, Lucas decided to put his learning into practice by creating content that highlights the apprenticeship experience from a learner's perspective.
His enthusiasm has already extended beyond the classroom.
Lucas is now supporting his company's marketing department, applying the knowledge and skills gained through the programme in a real-world setting.
It is a fantastic example of how apprenticeships can provide practical learning opportunities that benefit both the learner and their employer.
