Train to become a Personal Trainer with Sportscape Education’s flexible standalone course

If you’ve ever thought of becoming a personal trainer, now is the perfect time to take that first step - with the flexibility to fit around your life and no employer sponsorship required.

Sportscape Education is now offering the 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, a comprehensive, standalone course designed to prepare learners for a successful career in the fitness industry.

Unlike many apprenticeship routes, this qualification is open to anyone aged 16 and over, regardless of employment status.

There’s no need to be attached to a gym or employer - it’s open access for motivated individuals ready to start on their work journey.

The course offers a choice of two weekly sessions - one during the day and one in the evening - both covering the same content.

You only need to attend one per week, making it easier than ever to fit your training around work, study, or other commitments.

With 245 guided learning hours and a total qualification time of 360 hours, learners will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to design and deliver safe and effective personal training programmes.

Whether you're looking to start a new career, enhance your current role as a fitness instructor, or work towards self-employment, this course provides a clear route to industry recognition.

On successful completion, learners will:
✔️ Be qualified to work as a personal trainer;
✔️ Earn 10 CPD points with CIMSPA;
✔️ Join the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 3;
✔️ Gain a pathway into specialist training (e.g., supporting obese or diabetic clients, or clients with mental health conditions).

This course, which starts in September, is ideal for anyone ready to take their fitness career seriously, with structured learning and expert tutors guiding every step.
