Sportscape Education show cases range of sports coaching courses during half-term holidays

The recent half-term provided another busy and productive period at Sportscape Education, with learners across multiple programmes continuing their development through a variety of practical and classroom-based sessions.

To capture the activity taking place, we asked the apprentices to take part in a video highlighting the breadth of courses delivered during the week and the different pathways available to learners pursuing careers within sport, coaching and community health.

The video features three key qualifications currently being delivered: the Level 2 Community Activator Coach, the Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer (CSHO) qualification, and the Level 4 Sports Coach programme.

Together, these courses demonstrate the progression opportunities available, supporting learners at different stages of their professional journey.

The Level 2 Community Activator Coach course provides an entry point into coaching and community sport delivery, helping learners develop confidence, communication skills and an understanding of inclusive activity sessions.

Building on this foundation, the Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer programme focuses on using sport and physical activity to improve wellbeing within communities, preparing learners for roles that combine coaching with social impact.

For more experienced practitioners, the Level 4 Sports Coach qualification supports the development of advanced coaching knowledge, leadership skills and reflective practice, helping learners take the next step in their careers.

By showcasing all three courses together, the video highlights Sportscape Education’s commitment to offering clear progression routes and diverse learning opportunities within the sport and education sector.

The programmes reflect the organisation’s ongoing aim, providing practical, career-focused education that supports learners to grow, develop and succeed within the industry.
