Sportscape Education: Upskill your staff with the Level 3 Community, Sport and Health Officer Apprenticeship - starting January 2026
Upskilling staff has been one of the key conversations we’ve had with employers recently.
Across schools, community organisations, and sports programmes, there is a growing recognition that staff development is vital.
Giving employees the chance to learn new skills not only builds their confidence but also creates a bigger impact for the organisation and the communities they support.
At Sportscape Education, we see apprenticeships as far more than just qualifications.
They are an investment in people - one that benefits learners, employers, and those they serve.
That’s why we’re running the Level 3 Community, Sport and Health Officer Apprenticeship, with the next cohort starting in January 2026.
This nationally recognised programme is designed for staff already working in schools or community settings who want to progress their careers. Apprentices will gain practical skills and experience in areas such as:
Facilitating positive behaviour change;
Designing and delivering programmes tailored to different demographics;
Working with National Governing Bodies to build partnerships and secure funding;
The apprenticeship is also highly accessible, with 95–100% of costs funded by the government.
This means organisations can upskill their workforce without the financial burden, while staff benefit from accredited, industry-focused training.
With over a decade of experience in sport and education, Sportscape Education has seen the positive impact apprenticeships have on both individuals and employers.
They help staff take on greater responsibility, grow into leadership roles, and contribute to long-term organisational success.
If professional development is on your agenda for 2026, this apprenticeship could be the perfect solution.
